Since December 2018, Adrian Tylim has been serving as Head of North American business development for Blue Solutions, a Bolloré Group entity that designs and manufactures solid-state batteries for the global market. Based in Los Angeles, he is responsible for relations with OEMs, equipment manufacturers, and major players in the battery sector.
He has extensive experience in renewable energy technologies as an engineer, designer, and project and business developer. As the founder of Shift Energy, an engineering company focused on waste recovery, where he was CTO from 2014 to 2018, Adrian devised a method of producing renewable energy from waste. He was also part of the team designing the solar energy power module on NASA’s space station. He has worked on various wind energy projects in California and was head of business development at City Solar AG, a German solar engineering company.
Adrian Tylim holds a master's degree in energy systems engineering from the University of Arizona and a bachelor's degree in applied physics from California State University. He also taught from 2012 to 2019 at California Lutheran University, where he lectured on sustainable business strategies to MBA students.
