Andreas Munz is a Portfolio Manager at Fulcrum Asset Management, focusing on trading base and battery metals. He brings over 15 years of experience across commodities markets, having started his career as an options market maker on the NYMEX and NYBOT trading floors.

Since 2017, Andreas has specialized in base and battery materials, including nickel, cobalt, lithium, and copper, with deep expertise across the full value chain—from mining and refining to end-use demand in electrification and energy transition markets. Prior to joining Fulcrum, he led global metals trading activities at BASF, where he built and managed a global trading platform spanning physical and financial markets.
