With a strong foundation in geology and policy, Danielle brings a multidisciplinary perspective to the evolving critical minerals and lithium supply chain. Danielle holds a B.S. in Geology from the University of Kansas and an M.S. in Structural Geology and Active Tectonics from Oregon State University. Currently serving as a Geologist and Geoscience Policy Lead at Burns & McDonnell Engineering, Danielle supports the firm’s national mining strategy within the Environmental Global Practice, working across environmental due diligence, critical minerals recycling and recovery, and regulatory compliance for clients spanning industry, government, and investment sectors. Previously, as Director of Legislative & Regulatory Affairs at SAFE’s Center for Critical Minerals Strategy in Washington, D.C., Danielle advised policymakers and advanced legislative strategies to strengthen and diversify U.S. critical mineral supply chains across mining, processing, and battery manufacturing. Earlier in her career with the U.S. Geological Survey, she contributed to regional geologic mapping and active tectonics research across the Intermountain West.
