IBC Advanced Technologies Returns as a Silver Sponsor at the 18th Fastmarkets Lithium Supply & Battery Raw Materials Conference

IBC Advanced Technologies Returns as a Silver Sponsor at the 18th Fastmarkets Lithium Supply & Battery Raw Materials Conference
Returning Silver Sponsor: IBC Advanced Technologies

IBC Advanced Technologies’ Direct Lithium to Product process utilises SuperLig Molecular Recognition Technology for the sustainable production of battery grade lithium compounds from brines, ores and recycled batteries.

IBC Advanced Technologies has recently had its Direct Lithium to Product process independently evaluated by a third party to assess carbon emissions performance.

The assessment confirmed that the Direct Lithium to Product process demonstrates the lowest inherent emissions intensity among lithium extraction and refining methods, outperforming comparable approaches by more than two kilograms of CO2e per kilogram of lithium monohydrate.

Importantly, the process itself emits zero carbon dioxide equivalents, with all associated emissions coming only from indirect sources such as purchased electricity and upstream reagent production.

With targeted carbon reduction measures in place, including the use of renewable energy sources, emissions from energy consumption can be reduced to 0.56 kg CO2e per kilogram of lithium monohydrate, while upstream reagent emissions account for 0.79 kg CO2e per kilogram.

As a result, total emissions can be reduced to 1.35 kg CO2e per kilogram of lithium monohydrate, representing a 44 to 73 percent reduction compared with reported direct lithium extraction processes.

This independently verified performance reinforces IBC’s commitment to delivering low carbon, sustainable lithium production aligned with global ESG expectations and energy transition objectives.

IBC Advanced Technologies, Inc. is returning as a silver sponsor for the 18th Fastmarkets Lithium Supply & Battery Raw Materials Conference, taking place June 22 to 25 2026 at the Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa in Las Vegas, USA.

The Direct Lithium to Product process leverages SuperLig Molecular Recognition Technology to produce battery grade lithium hydroxide monohydrate or lithium carbonate directly, eliminating the need for secondary processing.

With 99 percent lithium recovery, exceptional selectivity over magnesium, calcium, sodium, potassium and boron, minimal water use, minimal waste generation and a low carbon footprint, the technology offers a proven solution for producers seeking efficient and responsible scale up.

Backed by more than 35 years of commercial scale metals processing experience, IBC delivers a low risk technology with reduced capital and operating costs, supporting bankable outcomes across the lithium value chain.

As a returning sponsor, IBC continues to support the Fastmarkets community of global leaders advancing innovation, investment confidence and sustainable lithium supply.
