ILiAD Technologies: Advanced DLE Impurity Rejection at Fastmarkets Global Lithium, Battery & Critical Materials 2026

ILiAD Technologies is a California-based DLE technology company offering its ILiAD+ adsorption-based platform, validated on geothermal and salar brines and backed by SLB and Arcadium Lithium.

ILiAD Technologies, LLC, a subsidiary of EnergySource Minerals (ESM) and based in California, has developed the ILiAD Direct Lithium Extraction platform, an adsorption-based DLE system combining a proprietary lithium selective adsorbent with continuous countercurrent bed processing. In July 2025, ILiAD launched ILiAD+, an enhanced version that increases impurity rejection by more than 85 percent and improves the lithium-to-sodium equivalent ratio by over six times, targeting the removal of boron, calcium, potassium, magnesium, and manganese from DLE output streams. ILiAD+ was validated on Salton Sea geothermal brine.

ILiAD Technologies completed a $50 million establishment capital raise including investments from SLB and Arcadium Lithium. In January 2026, the company deployed a DLE pilot unit at Rio Tinto's Sal de Vida project in Catamarca Province, Argentina. ILiAD's sister company ESM ATLiS is advancing Project ATLiS, a 22,000 tonne per year lithium hydroxide facility at the Salton Sea in California, which received a conditional commitment from the US Department of Energy Loan Programs Office. ILiAD Technologies joins Fastmarkets Global Lithium, Battery & Critical Materials in Las Vegas in June 2026 as a sponsor.
