CEO & President Charles FitzRoy became CEO of Giyani in September 2024, where he was previously Head of Corporate Development & Strategy. He has a wealth of experience across the critical minerals and mining sectors: as CEO of lithium explorer/developer Bradda Head Lithium, Mr. FitzRoy listed Bradda on AIM, OTC, and the TSX-V, and was responsible for cumulatively raising US$24M plus securing a further US$8M via a royalty. Mr FitzRoy is well-versed in public markets, M&A, corporate development, IR, equity research, and strategy gained from working at Citi, BlackRock, Arden Partners and CMOC, where he was involved with two deals worth $1.1bn combined. He holds degrees in Geology (BSc Hons) and Metals & Energy Finance (MSc), is a fellow of the Geological Society and a professional member of MIMMM. Mr FitzRoy also brings with him considerable management experience from his five years with the British Army.
