Johnna Muinonen is the President of Dumont Nickel, a development stage nickel and cobalt project in the Abitibi region of Canada that will produce products for the battery supply chain. Dumont is managed by Kinterra Capital, where Johnna is also a member of the Investment Committee. Johnna has been involved with Dumont since 2010 and led the Dumont Project through the study and engineering phases. Dumont Nickel is advancing towards a construction decision in 2025, including the completion of the project financing package. Prior to joining Dumont, Johnna was employed by Vale in a variety of operational and corporate leadership roles including both operations management and capital project management.  Johnna graduated from Queen’s Mining Engineering (Mineral Processing) in 1998 and is a Professional Engineer in Ontario.
