Nicholas Lugansky leads the mining and critical minerals business line at SLB. He brings more than 27 years of experience in the mining, petrochemical, and chemical industries. Prior to joining SLB, Nicholas had a long career with two of the largest EPC companies: Fluor and Bechtel. Throughout his career, Nicholas has been involved in securing and delivering some of the largest and most challenging mining and metals, petrochemical, and chemical projects around the world. Today, he focuses on finding technological solutions to bring sustainable technologies to the production of critical minerals to power the energy transition. One of these solutions is a well-to-product integrated lithium solution. Nicholas is trained in Civil Engineering, International Business, and Political Science. He also holds graduate degrees in International Affairs and Economics.
