Paul Charles is a senior executive, head of a global advisory firm and “Battery Thought Leader” focused on battery and energy technologies. He co-founded American Battery Factory (ABF) — the 1st network of safe, green, rapid-construction, modular gigafactories focused on lithium iron phosphate (LFP) prismatic cells for the energy storage and commercial electric vehicle (EV) markets — and led the company as its first CEO/President.

His 30+ years of experience in private/public sectors include energy, nanotechnology, finance, manufacturing, real estate development/construction, mining, and technology. He began his foray into the world of energy as the founder of a portable computing peripheral company providing battery charging products based in Switzerland, Silicon Valley California and Arizona, USA. He invented the first universal docking station for portable computers and IBM’s external bay replication products. He graduated in Finance/Accounting/Economics from Brigham Young University, USA.
