Prakash Govindan is a Co-Founder and CEO of Gradiant, the first company ever to be valued as a water unicorn, transforming critical water challenges in semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, automotive, food and beverage, mining and more, saving 6.5 billion liters of fresh water every day. Prakash is the driving force behind alkaLi, a spin-out born from the Gradiant labs, that is advancing the next generation of direct lithium extraction and critical mineral production. He holds a master’s degree from IIT Madras and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
